Furthermore, they opened the walkway in April of '05; and people were 
ecstatic, and coming from towns north and south of AP, just to check 
it out. It opened up a continuous boardwalk throughway for 
pedestrians, runners and, (I'm almost ashamed to say it....) 
cyclists. The best thing about it was the endless waste of manpower 
of the developers crew; hammering into the wee hours of the morning 
to NAIL the plywood back up NIGHTLY!!!!! By '06, the traffic through 
from "the grove" had significantly decreased already; but was still 
fairly continuous (in generally less volume) in the best of weather 
conditions.
