What is it that makes folks deny facts and history? Is it just to "get along" or to be contrarian? Look - It was a HEATING PLANT - the blue prints identify it as the BEACH CENTRAL HEATING PLANT - it produced steam for HEATING - it did not produce POWER. POWER PLANTS generate ELECTRICITY YES steam can power things (steam engine) - this was a HEATING PLANT. It provided HEAT to the ConHall, Casino and Pavilions.
