The plant did not produce electricty.  What did it produce?  Some 
sort of "power"?

What is it that makes folks deny facts and history? Is it just 
to "get along" or to be contrarian?

Look -  It was a HEATING PLANT - the blue prints identify it as the 
BEACH CENTRAL HEATING PLANT - it produced steam for HEATING - it did 
not produce POWER.

POWER PLANTS generate ELECTRICITY

YES steam can power things (steam engine) - this was a HEATING 
PLANT. It provided HEAT to the ConHall, Casino and Pavilions.

If we can not even acknowledge facts then this City is certainly 
doomed.
