You are correct about everything, including the "safe" part of Pier Village.
That is probably the biggest issue that AP has to overcome, and so far I think 
our PD is 
doing a pretty good job at that, but I still think it's an uphill battle.
Last night, my street once again was prostitute and pimp central. But, I keep 
calling the 
cops, and they keep coming, which is good.
The drug problem still seems big. There is an apt. building near the corner of 
Kingsley and 
2nd that seems to be a place where alot of dealing takes place...and most of 
the people 
that appear to be dealers either live there, or make pickups and deliveries via 
bicycle.
I also think our city needs more positive PR, and unfortunately the APP is more 
apt to 
report the shootings then the progress being made.
