Mr. Serpico, is a fine, reputable guy, as well as attorney! AP, gets
its' money's worth, when they hired him! A decent, honorable son, of
Asbury Park! Indeed, Mr. Serpico, taught me and gave good sound
advice, on how to change, or grant beneficial use, in many requests,
on the zoning board! I believe as he always did, (his homework), on
this Ned, person. Too bad, he didn't heed him, when he repeatedly
asked, whether there was any conflict. once said, that I couldn't
vote on an issue, because of my faith, forgetting the board was
predominantly Catholic and that religion, had no bearing on the
ruling. Wasn't anything monumental, except a change in use, of a said
property. When it comes to faith-based activities of any group, I
would have voted yes, because religion, is the one thing that grounds,
me. Not so for some or those who have no faith; it's just what it is!
I've also learned that it's okay, to NOT have any faith, for whatever
reason or, none! Our board meetings were only attended by those
petitioning. There were no huge crowds and I almost thought, that it
was a "non-important", board! It is, since the redevelopment, finally
took off!
