At least Jim Keady makes an attempt to communicate with his constituants.
I have yet to see any of the other council members step up to the plate.
He was also the only person on the council who took the time to
address my concerns at a council meeting. The others just sat there
and looked like they couldn't wait for me to finish talking.
Also, take a look at the cities website. Jim is the only council
member who lists his phone number and email address.
I really wonder that at what point, or how many more
murders/shootings, will the mayor and council actually step up and
connect with their citizens. Their silence during times of violence is
pathetic in my opinion. Yet Jim Keady gets slammed for doing so.
As for the blog about cameras, at least he's asking the question. You
can't honestly expect the cameras to magically appear do you?
