That's one of the reasons why I truly believe people are mistaken  
when they think Asbury Park could NEVER be a world class tourist  
destination again.  We have NYC, Philly, and DC within a short  
trip.   We also have a marketing engine that was not available during  
the 70s or 80s - The INTERNET.

Think about it.  A well organized pr/marketing campaign could be done  
these days for much less and reach many more people than ever.  With  
millions of people within a short drive and mass transit, why  
couldn't a beach town with a world wide name reclaim its place?
