Some of you might know Guido. He's been called the "Mayor of Cookman Ave". The local musical community is celebrating his birthday and his departure to Florida with a farewell bash. In honor of a very fine gentleman and supporter of Asbury Park for over 30 years, I will be performing as Guidetta and The Asbury Guidos at 5:30 today with many guests at The Wonder Bar. Also appearing/performing; Mayor Sanders, Sonny Kenn at 4pm, Flathead Dave and the Magnetos, Vinnie Lopez (former drummer for Bruce), Boociagalupe and the Bad Boys and many many more talented acts. Guido has been fund raising for charitable causes and helping people throughout the community long before most of us moved here, please come by on your way home from the beach or where ever you are and pay tribute to this great heart.
