One would think. I believe this is just poor marketing. An apple festival sounds like a family event. Bring in some rides on the boardwalk, have vendors and rides in the park etc. Problem is Asbury is not yet a family town. People are still nervous about this place and I don't blame due to all the headlines this past year. Plus it gets dark now 7-7:30. Sounds more like a way to get in another first Saturday.

This event seems ideal for children.... .wouldn't a daytime festival that stretched into the evening make more sense? John --- In [EMAIL PROTECTED] ups.com, "Michael W.
