what's wrong with the story is that the W sat idle - closed up,
boarded up and painted over for a few years til it was re-opened.
That's the real story. And before that, it was there, dying out - like
the rest of the oceanfront and downtown.
Times are different, thanks to people with vision and guts.
Now you just need that vision and guts to catch on to the redvelopers.
At least that's where the big $$$ people are.
