ASBURY PARK — Police are warning residents to lock their car doors after four
vehicle
burglaries were reported over the last few days.

Four vehicles have been burglarized since Monday, and items, including wallets,
a tote bag
and money, have been stolen, said Capt. David Kelso.

He said residents should remove valuables from their vehicles and lock their
car doors.
Residents who see suspicious activity should call police immediately.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call the detective bureau
at (732)
502-5770 or the department's tip line at 1-800-799-8280.
