The surgeon was trying to explain to the patient the latest in medical
technology for the procedure at hand.

The use of lasers to minimize the impact on surrounding important
organs. Scanners to identify what is really wrong instead on treating
the symptoms. Even the design of new parts to be installed so they
work with the existing.

The patient didn't understand anything the Doctor was talking about,
it all sounded like a lot of un-needed details. Expensive he thought
to himself, perhaps he should go to that generic doctor down the street.

The patient just wanted something done and was uninterested in the
best, most economical, least intrusive way.
