Great question Dan and I'm sorry I don't know the answer (not my area). My gut tells me that the lease is a property right of the law firm, not really a debt.
Not really sure how that would work. However, that building is not in bankruptcy. It is before a chancery judge. It was an REI building, and they got caught in that alleged Ponzi scheme. That was all the news until Dwek knocked them off the front pages with a much bigger scandal. --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "dfsavgny" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, "oakdorf" <oakdorf@> wrote: > > > > a sweetheart lease that a > > new owner would have to eat. > > > > Tom, can't the bankruptcy judge cancel that lease? > Yahoo!
