I think some places are starting to make St. Barth look cheap.
Last night, we went to the beach bar because i wanted to be outside.
Cosmo and beer and my $20 bill disappeared. $18 for a cos and corona.
Left the other $2 for the b-tend.
Then i thought we'd get a casear salad from Raff's. I was there during
the day and for $8.00 it was so big I took most of it back to work for
my secretary who then took the rest home for her family. But we heard
music coming from Mattison Park and headed there instead.
Same as above - cornoa and cos - $15. Getting better. We weren't
starving but ordered i beleive was "la blanca" bar pie. Excellent.
It should of been, at $19 for the pie. But good music - inside and out.
We stopped in front of the pony and listened for a few minutes. I
guess a blanket and a bottle of wine and the 2nd ave beach would of
worked as well.
Biggies opens today.
