It's a joke or was a joke.

There is/are also a couple lots at Dewitt that are part of the Dwek
bankruptcy....one combo of lots was approved for 3 townhomes, the
other identical plan was stalled. If someone in the city hall there
wants to make sure the redevelopment plan doesn't get stalled because
of these properties held by Dwek/trustee (like the NJ Gas building),
they should start today or nothing will happen. Nothing will happen
as long as the trustees in both these cases get slapped around by the
federal bankruptcy judges. As long as there is money in the estate,
the cases will drag on.

My friend is trying to foreclose on a house in florida from a loan
she made to a guy in nj who turned out to be a scammer. So she is
into the foreclosure now for about $50k. Her opponent is not the real
scammer, but the trustee appointed by the state whose funds are those
of the scammer for the most part.

Banks cannot afford to foreclose for the most part. In Florida, the
court room the banks didn't even make an appearance. Automatic. All
the judge was doing once a week, all day, reading off foreclosures.
