2-1-1
2-1-1, funded by United Way of Monmouth County, provides an information and
referral service by phone and at its companion website for all questions about
social service in Monmouth County. Just dial 2-1-1 or visit www.nj211.org.
2-1-1 is a statewide number that connects people with the resources they need
to solve common life problems.
It's FREE and totally confidential. When you call 2-1-1, you'll talk to someone
who's kind and eager to help, who has information about thousands of agencies,
programs and community resources that offer services.
2-1-1 can help you find everything from basic needs like food, housing and
healthcare to legal services, drug treatment, jobs assistance, childcare,
mental health services, transportation, financial assistance and a lot more.
It's a very simple way to find the help you're looking for. So even if life
seems full of problems, finding help shouldn't be one of them.
Just dial 2-1-1 from your home phone, cell phone or VOIP service or call toll
free 877-NJ2114U (877-652-1148).
2-1-1 is TTY accessible and multilingual.
