Hi Dave, I hope that the manner in which I wrote the bullet did not paint landlords as all problematic and the only responsible party in the issue.
What I want to get across is that WHEN there is an issue of a landlord (absentee or otherwise) OR a tenant, which is causing poor housing conditions, then it should be addressed. I am hoping that we as a community can improve our overall housing stock. This would help quality of life, home values and possibly rectify some of our nearly 20% vacancy rate. Thanks.
