5/27/2013 3:58:51 PM EST - This is a Code Red Alert from the Asbury Park Police Department. Today is Monday, May 27th. On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, President Obama will deliver remarks in the area of Asbury Park’s Convention Hall. A security zone will be established from 3rd to 6th Avenues and east of Kingsley Street to the oceanfront. There will be no beach access between 3rd and 6th Avenues. The entrance for ticket holders will be at 3rd & Ocean Avenues. Ticket holders will be admitted at 11:30 AM. The will be no parking on Memorial Drive or on Fifth Avenue east of Memorial Drive. Street as well as residential parking in these and other areas of the city may be restricted at times. Alternate side of the street parking will be suspended for tomorrow. The Asbury Park Police Department asks for your patience and cooperation during the Presidents’ visit.
