The danger of being shot is real for first responders in Asbury Park, says
Robert Fahnholz, the president of International Association of Fire Fighters
Local 384 and that's why he says bulletproof vests for city firefighters are
a good idea.
"It's been talked about in the past. However, it's a complicated issue," he
said.
Shame when you have to be in fear of doing your job - of saving someone else's
life and risking your OWN life and that of your OWN family.
