Hi Kashish
Thanks very much for your interest in our project. Your background
sounds really complementary to our work.
We want to get FPROPS to the position where it can be used for some
basic chemical reactions and multi-component phase equilbrium problems.
Something simple like equilibrium modelling of a water-gas shift
reaction would be a nice first step, and I think would be a good goal
for this immediate GSOC project. We need to start with the simplest
approach possible, and then to gradually increase the sophistication. If
you have a bit of chemistry in your background then this should be quite
achievable. I encourage you to examine the FPROPS codebase as well as
the original models/thermodynamics.a4l code in ASCEND, and to outline a
proposed approach.
Cheers
JP
