Hi, My name is Ayush Jhunjhunwala and I am a third year undergrad student at International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-H) pursuing Btech in Computer Science and MS in Computational Natural Sciences.
To my experience I have built a portal using Python and Django for my research work in the field of RNA structures and their stability[3]. The portal uses various python scripts for quantum chemical calculations. Also have done courses such as Thermodynamics (which had references to Sandler book) and CNS lab (optimizations required for quantum calculations) and Statistical mechanics. To add on I have made a load-balancer using python socket library[2]. I am interested in contributing to the community and I am also willing to apply for GSOC.I would like to work on the project - “GTK3/Python3” and certain issues or features of existing project under the guidance of a mentor. I wanted to know more about the project and try to understand it and think about the implementation and prepare for the prerequisites. I have quite good knowledge of Python, C, Html, css, sql and engineering thermodynamics. I have set up the development environment for ASCEND. How could I contact the project mentors to discuss any doubt about project? It would be very helpful if you could guide me through.
