Sir,
I am Jatin Lalwani, third year student at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad India,
pursuing MSc(Hons.) Mathematics with B.E(Hons.) Electronics and
communication. I have gone through the list of project ideas and I found
the following projects very interesting as they exactly match my areas of
interests(numerical methods and graph theory)-
1) Bug squashing
2) Debugging tools for DAE modelling
3) Dynammic modelling improvements
The above projects are listed in the order of my interests and I want to
get started as soon as possible preferably on Bug squashing.
Why the above projects?- As I have been into programming in C/C++ from my
very first year and have completed all the compulsory disciplinary courses
of MSc(Hons.) Mathematics I feel that any of the above projects would be a
great learning experience for me.

Introduction to programming in C
Coding experience-
I have solved over 600 problems (written around 50,000 lines of code) on
online judges like codechef, spoj and codeforces.
I believe that I could help in making contribution to ASCEND as I have the
required skills. Could you please guide me so that I could start
contributing.
