Thanks for your interest in our project. With the limited time, I would
suggest that the best way for you to demonstrate your ability would be
to build and run your own dynamic model, with some details of the
problem being solved. You should show how ASCEND currently responds to
models that are over/under specified, and what is required in order to
idenfy where the problem lies. What if there is no solution for the
intial conditions? What exactly are the ways that we solve the initial
value problem at present? What if there are unsolved equations after
integration is completed, what happens then? If you can explain your
understanding of these matters in your proposal, you will be well placed
for selection.
