Update: I think I'll go for another option than 1 or 2 for translation, since I've been stupid enough to implement it and read "Hide the Table des matières". That was quite funny... :)
So I'll have to add attributes in lang-xx.conf such as 'toc-hide-text' and 'toc-show-text' and transfer their values to javascript.
