Hi

I added a link to your doc about Braitenberg Creatures in the program page. We will find a better place for it in the new structure but meanwhile, it is accessible :o)

Valentino Braitenberg's thought experiment "Vehicles" has been the inspiration for robotics activities. In 1991, researchers at the MIT Media Lab created 12 hardware implementations inspired by "Vehicles". The hardware blocks they used were the forerunners of LEGO Mindstorms.

I have adapted the MIT "Braitenberg Creatures" for Thymio VPL. The projects are appropriate for novices because they can be implemented with very short programs, yet require some thought and experimentation.

The document and VPL programs can be downloaded from:

Note: The programs in this archive are for the development version Aseba 1.4, but there should be no problem writing programs in 1.3, although they will be longer because multiple actions per event are only supported in 1.4.
