Hello,

Some robotics educational products with a camera [1] or a color sensor [2] are starting to appear. While these do not have the design or research depth of the Thymio, a vision sensor does increase the possibilities of an educational robot.

So, knowing that computer vision is a rich but difficult field, but that even a low-resolution camera can be a very rich sensor: As educator, I have a question: would you like to see such a sensor on the Thymio? And if so, what educational activity would you typically do with it?

I strongly believe that the decision of adding a camera on a future version of the Thymio should be driven by the educational needs, so your opinion does matter a lot!

kind regards,

Stéphane
