HiAfter some discussions, here is a new proposition concerning layout and categories (joint to the mail).
Concerning the categories, here is an explanation:- The current categories are a bit diffcult to understand. As we are now more separating visual from text programming, we thought that these two categories would be easier to understand. It would also avoir do have in the forum a bunch of really technical question into some "easy" ones (people will probably be less afraid to ask if the feel safe) - The current category "Teacher exchanges" is a bit fuzzy. As the section is called "Schools" we thought it would be clearer. - Currently, there is no "technical issue" category and that's terribly missing because people start to write them into every category instead of in one. Moreover, a good part of people won't be able to say if this is a hardware or software problem before they get an answer, so giving them one category would be easier. - The Wish list could help us better understand the users of Thymio and could give us precious insight about product development. - The General is useless until there is a question you don't know where to post, so it's becoming mandatory ;o)
If everyone is ok with this, we will start modifying this before the end of next week. The tricky part will be transfer but apparently, what we can do is this:
1. Create the new categories 2. Move the threads to these new categories.The idea would be to look _before _if one category couldn't be just renamed (like Aseba Studio renamed in technical issue for example) so that we would avoid transfering 50 threads from a folder to another.
