Dear Aseba community,
Following a report concerning a failed installation on Windows 8, I just
released an updated installer.
The updated stable release can be found on the wikidot:
https://aseba.wikidot.com/en:wininstall. I also regenerated the latest
nightly build with the new installer: http://mobots.epfl.ch/aseba-nightly.
The problem was due to the unsigned driver. We generated our own signing
key, and added it to the Trusted Root CA in Windows. As the OS remains
silent during this step, and considering the potential security risks, I
also wrote a disclaimer notice on the wikidot with all the details:
