Hello, i've started a search engine project with aspseek. The first tests are quite nice and the soft is nice to use. I'm just hanging on an stupid question as many users seems to have this problem, the charsets ! Can anybody help me with this ? My searchengine is working on european languages and in particular with the french charsets (mostly iso-8859-1) I'm not sure if aspseek was compiled with charssetguesser enabled ?! So my question : What should be ucharset.conf, searchd.conf and aspseek.conf look like to read and print resultats with good charset ? Or is it possible to compile over an installed version with charset --enabled version without crashing the datas already collected ? Thanks to all for help Gilbert
