Hi, I just installed ASPseek 1.2.8 on my RedHat 7.1 box. The installation went smoothly -- no errors -- but when I ran index for the first time, it only returned 5 pages. When I tried to search via s.cgi, it worked, so I know the system is running correctly -- it's just the index that's having problems.
Here are some more details: I specified in aspseek.conf that I wanted 2 sites searched, site1.com and site2.com. When I ran index for the first time, these are the pages that were entered into the database: http://site1.com/robots.txt 404 http://site1.com/ 200 http://site2.com/ 200 http://site2.com/robots.txt 404 http://site2.com/press 301 ... and that's all. Now, I know only 2/5 of these came back with a 200, but there were MANY more links on the two sites that index didn't seem to follow. Any word on how to fix this, or what I'm doing wrong?
