I tried to copy the cookies from .netscape/cookies file. It still does not
work, but at least it is clear now which way to go. Can you confirm that
HTTP headers from the index.conf file are a global parameter and cannot
be set per server? May be you can also answer one of my previous questions
about MaxHops setting. Its behaviour seems to depend on whether it is
in the config file itself or in an Included file (even when in all cases it
stands
before the first Server statement). Is there any workaround allowing to
set MAxHops on per server basis?

You can send arbitrary cookie from aspseek's index using
"HTTPHeader" directive in aspseek.conf file. Smth like

HTTPHeader Cookie: Id=23452345234; Pwd=jkdhfuwfr

You can figure what cookies for site you have by looking into
~/.netscape/cookies file.
