Probably you installed it not by using ./configure --prefix=... && make 
install, but in some other way.

You haven't mentioned ASPseek version. If it is not 1.2.10, please first 
try it with 1.2.10.

make uninstall
./configure --prefix=/your/favourite/dir
make && make install
