I'm having some problems starting up the 'index'
program, and I was hoping someone here could help me.
I've read through as much online documentation as I
could find, and nothing has helped so far. When I try
to run 'index' I get this:

aspseek@superman:~$ index
Loading configuration from
/usr/local/aspseek/etc/db.conf
Loading configuration from
/usr/local/aspseek/etc/ucharset.conf
Loading configuration from
/usr/local/aspseek/etc/stopwords.conf
Loading configuration from
/usr/local/aspseek/etc/aspseek.conf
ERROR: Can't connect to database. Access denied for
user: 'aspseek12@localhost' (Using password: YES)

The aspseek.conf file has a line to include the
db.conf file. That file has the correct mysql
username and password. I've verified this by
connecting directly to the database using the
commandline and login/pw in that file. I've also
logged into the database as root and examined the USER
table, and it is indeed the correct password.

As far as I can tell, the installation has been fine
to this point. I successfully ran the
post-installation mysql script, and I can see the
aspseek user, database, and tables. Has anyone seen
this problem before or know where I went wrong? I'm
sure it's something that I've overlooked (hopefully
small). Thanks for the help.

Kevin
