Rata2 distro Linux sekarang memang membutuhkan komputer dengan spesifikasi cukup bagus, termasuk juga FC3; seperti prosesor > 500 MHz, memory minimal 128MB. Ada perkecualian, seperti distro VectorLinux, Slackware, dll; yang bisa berjalan di komputer tua.
