Mungkin harus ditulis pathnya dengan lengkap, walopun sudah di direktori tersebut, tetep harus ditulis.. atau tambahin ./ di depan nama filenya.. jadi seperti ini: chmod +x ./jre-1_5_04-linux-i586.bin
atau bisa juga setelah ketik chmod +x ./j terus kita pencet tombol TAB .. kalau keluar secara lengkap, berarti sudah bener...
