Infrastructure, model clustered-cell. Satu cluster biasanya satu AP dgn beberapa client. Antar AP biasanya link point-to-point atau via repeater. Mesh-net mirip mode Add-hoc peer to peer. Antar node saling meneruskan tcp/ip routing ke node terdekat, jadi bisa memiliki cakupan yg lebih luas. Infrastructure lebih mahal investasinya (spt BTS cellular), perlu tower tinggi, client terjauh dgn antena LOS, dsb. Kalo mesh net cukup menggunakan 1 radio standard + antena outdoor omni ringan (5~12 dBi) yg ekonomis dan cukup di pasang selevel antena TV di atap rumah. Cuma, infrastructure lebih mudah managing-nya. Kalo mesh-net perlu komitmen & kebersamaan dlm kominutas, kadang sulit managing-nya kalau jaringan sudah terlalu luas. -yadi- ------------------------ Yahoo!
