Hello Josh,
Hell-Oh... What's this u're planning to do man? Kindly note that 80% of
users don't prefer to spend time in registering (unless they have no other
option). I agree that with all this thing u've planned, all trusted feedbacks
will exist in ur guestbook. But kindly think again: Guest book is a book u've
provided for guests... Kindly think once again about converting ur "Guest Book"
into a "Personal Diary". I'd say that we should keep discussion forums so
tight, not the guest book at-least. unless u're planning to send regular
newsletters, registration process is not recommended from me.
Speaking honestly I dunno how we'll be able to do that... but I'm sure
some1 here must be knowing this. I'd suggest that instead of this just keep a
vigil on valid email Ids n their counter checking. A friend of mine once sent
me a JavaScript for email validation... I'd look-out that for u if u want me to
do so. Hope I've still retained it somewhere :P
Friends I may be wrong somewhere, if anybody feel that they should
correct me with their suggestions. Then kindly don't hesitate in writing back
to me.

everytime a person signs in, he or she should register or if he/shes already
registered hell/shell need the username and a password before he/she can
signs in again. And in order to verify if the email ad is not a sham, there
should a counterchecking.. how would I do all of these..thanks in advance
whoever is good hearted.
