Hi
You can also use oledb provider to get connected to a remote database. The
connection string will look like this
"Provider=SQLOLEDB;SERVER=<some ip address >; UID=sa; PWD=admin; DATABASE=
testdb"
I will use the above connection string to connect to sqlserver database.
