Matt, Thanks, I didn't know that was possible. What I want is actually a way to use this dialog in my plugin, and I just found it in the code. I worked around instantiating an OpenTypeSelectionDialog object. It's in an internal package, and I get some warnings, but everything works fine.

It's true that full searching of declarations in aspects is not implemented, but there is an "Open AspectJ Type" dialog (Alt+Shift+A) which can be used to select from all the aspects, classes, interfaces etc in a project.
