Even with remapping ZWJ/ZWNJ to which ever characters, I still get
an error when trying to make the dictionary. There are messages about:
"... The character 'ÿÿ' (U+200D) may not appear in the middle of a
word. Skipping word."
and similarly for U+200C. It seems like these might be hard-coded. Am
checking further.
That should work. Did you modify u-mymr.txt and then rerun mkchardata on
it?
Yeah, I did. I expected it to work too, and haven't chased down the
problem yet.
In the charset file you sent me the two relevant lines contain:
11 200C - N 11 11 11 00 00 00 # ZERO WIDTH NON-JOINER
12 200D - N 12 12 12 00 00 00 # ZERO WIDTH JOINER
Where the type is '-' for other when it should be:
11 200C M N 11 11 11 00 00 00 # ZERO WIDTH NON-JOINER
12 200D M N 12 12 12 00 00 00 # ZERO WIDTH JOINER
with the type as 'M' for modifier
Most likely reason is that you are using an older version of unicode.txt.
You should check out the latest copy of aspell-lang from CVS, the module
name is "aspell-lang" see http://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group=aspell
