Since I do not have access to your 'pb' dictionary I do not know the exact problem you were having. However, there were a number of bugs in the handling of replacement pairs in Aspell 0.50.1 which have been fixed in the newly released 0.50.2. Please upgrade to the latest version and let me know if you are still having problems.
