Hunspell, which is a more recently developed alternative to 
Aspell, has a "NOSUGGEST" flag that can be used for those words in 
the dictionary that should be accepted as correct (not indicated 
as errors), but not appear in suggestions.  Hunspell is based on 
Myspell and used in recent versions of the OpenOffice.org 
software.  Hunspell's primary feature is its improved handling of 
compound words in languages such as Hungarian and Finnish. 
However, as far as I know, it doesn't have Aspell's sophisticated 
sound-alike suggestion algorithm.
