As you all probably know by now Aspell .25 will not compile under gcc 2.7.2 due to some nasty bugs in gcc 2.7.2. I hope to get it working again soon However I was wondering.... Is it even worth it? Egcs is available on most unix platforms by now and it is included in RedHat 5.1 and Debaian Hamm. So I don't really see the need to continue to support gcc 2.7.2. How many of you still have Gcc 2.7.2 as the c++ compiler? And of those who still use gcc 2.7.2 how many of you will not be able to upgrade to egcs of gcc 2.8? Thanks in Advance. Note: To find out what c++ compiler your system has use g++ -v and NOT gcc -v because many Linux distributions have gcc by 2.7.2 but g++ be egcs. --- Kevin Atkinson [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://metalab.unc.edu/kevina/ --- Note: This message was origanlly posted to [EMAIL PROTECTED], not [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ aspell-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/aspell-user
