I had a previous version of aspell installed but it had problems reading the
word lists so I downloaded the latest version (.32.6) and this is the error
i get when i type make install:
chmod +x /usr/local/lib/libaspell.so.8.0.1

.././install-sh -c .libs/libaspell.a /usr/local/lib/libaspell.a
ranlib /usr/local/lib/libaspell.a
../libtool: ranlib: not found
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `install-libLTLIBRARIES'
Current working directory /usr/local/aspell-.32.6/lib
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `install-am'
Current working directory /usr/local/aspell-.32.6/lib
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `install-recursive'
Current working directory /usr/local/aspell-.32.6/lib
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `install-recursive'
Can anyone help me with this?
