I have gotten pretty good responses and settled issues with installing and
using Rainbow 2.0. A couple of developers have even contacted stating that
they always wanted to dev for rainbow but never got a response back. I am
going to attempt to change that. If you have XP in the following areas :

ASP.NET 1.1 (2+ years)
ASP.NET 2.0 (learning is fine)
MS SQL Server (1+ year)
---------
and have an interest in
CMS | Portals | Ajax

then submit your resume to me and lets go make an awesome rainbow :). =>

Under the new manifesto [ of Manu] you will have to produce in 6 month
statements. IE I will develop [ including testing, finding bugs,
improving] said module for the next 6 months. I will test and improve the
rainbow core or said module for a period of 6 months. If no progress is made
then you can be removed. We need developers who would like to help convert
modules to XHTML compliant modules under XHMTL Traditional 1.0 . We need
devs who are interested in making new ASP.NET 2.0 modules. We need
developers who are interested in bringing the new 2.0 features such as
membership , health monitoring, gridViews, object data sources, ASP.NET web
parts [ my favorite], fragment and control caching just to name a few. We
are also looking for 1.1ers who know the 1.1 code well and would like to
help on improving the core of Rainbow 2.0 using the best techniques. So if
you would like to help on a great project and help build the second large
scale Rainbow dev community, then send me your resume and lets get going. I
would suggest you learn how to use sub-version first and pull down the
current code [ and get it working - you can email me with questions ] BEFORE
you ask for devship.

We are also looking for testers. I really need some people to step up and
just muck with rainbow 2.0. Its not even that hard. Crash it and report it
on the ticket system or suggest ways to improve it as you look through
code. You dont even have to code!!! This will help so much and in turn
help everyone. Plus, if we find bugs for Rainbow 2.0 they can be applied to
the 1.1 and vice versa.

Heres to a better rainbow :)
