This is regarding data transfer.
I have a setup wherein there are multiple client
machines
Those multiple clients are not conencted to each
other.
There is one server hosted on the Web and has a
webservice running on it.
The multiple client machines should connect to the
server at particular interval
and deliver the data to server.
In this case I am planning to have a windows service
on client machines
and which will use the webservice of the server and
deliver the data.
now how does it make is a diff. area.
what i wanted to know was, what is the best method to
make the system ubderstand about the
broken connections.
i.e. if i had 100 records to deliver to server and
connection broke at the transfer of 57th record
then what could be the best method to identify it.
and do i use the transactions in this case or there is
some better mechanism ?
