WOW! I didn't read the list for a couple days and this thread went 
on................. Well to answer the first one IM NOT CHRISTIAN.... but as 
I grew up and also as I watched tv I don't remeber  Santa Clause saying some 
besides  "Merry Christmas"  Ho Ho Ho etc.. Rhonda hit the nail on the head. 
You can't say a thing anymore without it offending someone.  All the old 
movies on tv and the ones I watched growing up even the GRINCH which is a 
classic said MERRY CHRISTMAS. Others can have a holiday when they want to. I 
am not a judging or narrow minded person and know that all people are 
different. TIS the season to be jolly......................
