Hi,
In am doing my project in ASP Dot Net. I have to send mails across the
internet.
I used the system.web.mail package and sent mail using the stanard code for
sending mails. This worked well in my PC. But in my college there is LAN
connection and my computer is one of the clients. We are connected to the
Internet thro' lease line connection. Now the same code doesn't work. the mails
reside at the queue folder itself. From thereon it donot move to the internet.
After it is expired it returns to bad mail folder. I checked the log and it
showed some DNS error. But the same code worked well in my PC. In my college,
they have provided no restrictions for mail transfer. No filtering is done in
the server. Clients are given full permissions.
What might be wrong? Plz help.
