what about combining the data from teh datagrids as datatables in a dataset.
then can you export the whole dataset to excel? 
I have not personally tried it... but if you can export a table, i
have a gut feeling you can export a dataset.

my impression is that you will need to loop through each datatable and
ad dit to your export with seperator info or new wrok page info added
to meet your requirments.
