The books "Beginning .net XML in C#" or "Beginning .net XML in VB.net" by Wrox are the best books to learn from. Buy them from Amazon used (they may be out of print). You won't regret it. http://www.w3schools.com has good XML introduction http://www.charlescarroll.com/chaz/site/4276/default.aspx are some of the best General XML books if w3schools does not go far enough for you.
