By no means. The data will be used for reference throughout the entire
application. I will also want to update some of this data.

The application will be a chat server and the data will be stored
persistently (although the chat messages will generally not be in immediate
memory and will be purged after a month). There will be chat messages,
users, rooms, meetings (i.e. notifications of specific chats at specific
times), etc.

Until I've done it I won't be able to compare the two.
